AGB (All Good Batteries) respects your privacy. This policy describes what data we collect, what we don't collect, and how you can exercise your rights. If anything here is unclear, email [email protected].

Data we collect

  • Anonymous analytics: we use a privacy-friendly analytics service that records aggregated page views, referrers, and approximate country. We do not receive IP addresses, cookies, or personal identifiers.
  • Server logs: our hosting provider keeps short-term access logs (IP, user agent, request path) for security and abuse prevention. Logs are rotated and deleted within 30 days.
  • Email correspondence: if you email us, we retain the message for reply and follow-up. We do not add your address to any marketing list without explicit opt-in.

Data we do not collect

  • No user accounts — nothing to sign up for, nothing to log into.
  • No cross-site tracking, no advertising cookies, no fingerprinting.
  • No third-party trackers in article content.

Cookies

We may set a small preference cookie for UI state (theme, chat sidebar open/closed). This cookie is first-party, short-lived, and contains no personal data. Our analytics provider does not set cookies.

Affiliate tracking

When you click an affiliate link, the destination retailer (Amazon, Walmart, a brand store) may set cookies or record identifiers according to their own privacy policies. AGB does not receive any personal data from these transactions — we only learn aggregated attribution figures through each affiliate program's reporting dashboard.

Your rights

Under GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and similar laws, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Since we collect very little, in practice this usually applies only to email correspondence. Email [email protected] to make a request; we respond within 30 days.

Children

AGB is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy materially, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where material, note the change on our homepage for at least 30 days.
