About AGB

AGB (All Good Batteries) is an independent review and recommendation site for portable power stations. We score every product in our database against the same 45 technical criteria and 20 real-world use cases — then turn those scores into clear, comparable rankings.

What we do

We track 123 power stations from 24 brands. For each product we record capacity, AC output, solar input, battery chemistry, weight, recharge time, connectivity, warranty, and dozens of other specifications. Every data point is cross-checked against the manufacturer's spec sheet.

Prices are refreshed regularly from Amazon, Walmart, and each brand's direct store. We compute a 0–100 overall score for every product, activity-specific scores for 20 use cases (camping, RV life, home backup, CPAP, remote work, and more), and a normalized star rating.

What we don't do

We do not sell power stations. We do not take money from manufacturers for placement. Our rankings are determined by the data — not by advertiser relationships. When we link to a retailer, we may earn a commission; this has no effect on scores or order.

See our affiliate disclosure for details on how commissions work, and our methodology page for the full scoring formula.

Editorial team

AGB is operated by a small team of writers and engineers. The scoring pipeline is maintained by the engineering team; editorial oversight of rankings and verdicts sits with the editor-in-chief. We do not accept manufacturer review units except on a loaner basis with full disclosure.
